I am constantly amazed at the applications that come out for the iPhone and their application for the practice of law. The latest creation of Twitter creator Jack Dorsey is a credit card reader for your iPhone or other smart phone. While I already have a hard wired machine at my assistant's desk that can accept credit card payments, the implications of this device will free me up to take care of the payment right at my conference room table as we are signing the engagement agreement or finishing the representation.
